Split PDF

Split one PDF into consecutive groups of pages. Each group becomes a separate PDF, and the final group contains any remaining pages.

Split and save

  1. Choose Split PDF and open your PDF.
  2. Set Pages per file. The displayed output count updates to match.
  3. Click Split and Save PDFs….
  4. Choose a destination folder.
  5. DipperPDF saves the outputs together in a new subfolder and lists their filenames when finished.

A ten-page PDF split every three pages produces four PDFs containing pages 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, and 10. Set Pages per file to 1 to get one PDF for each page.

Output and limits

The original page order is preserved, and the source is unchanged. The new subfolder avoids replacing existing files.

This tool splits by page count. To export a custom selection such as pages 2, 5, and 6 into one PDF, use Extract Pages. To assemble pieces from multiple PDFs, use Merge PDFs.
